Phyllis Ann Morris, age 84, of Cedarville Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 1, 1938 in Lancaster, PA the daughter of Paul and Mildred Ament.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, George "Fritz" Morris in 2022; son: Dale Franklin Morris in 2021; sister Jean (Wayne) Frye, and sister-in-law: Connie Ament.

She is survived by her children: Becky (Keith) Nelligan of North Collins, NY; Barb (Rob) Hunt of Cedarville, OH; Marcy (Mike) Muffoleto of Brant, NY; John (Amy) Morris of Cedarville, OH; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings: John (Julie) Ament, Judy (Steve) Price and Glenn Ament; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis retired from Cedarville University Post Office at the age of 82. She graduated from Houghton University. In the 1960's she spent many years in Peru as a Missionary. She also took 5 trips to South Africa in the early 2000's to work with the children for Bethesda Outreach Ministries. She really, really, really loved her gardens, and watching the birds.

On Saturday, September 16th at Grace Baptist Church, 109 N Main St Cedarville Oh 45314, there will be a celebration of her life beginning with 10 AM visitation and following that will be a memorial service at 12 Noon. The memorial service will be live-streamed and can be accessed at www.gracecedarville.org at the media tab.
