Rachel M. Bahel, age 49, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her residence.  She was born in Xenia on November 19, 1973.

She is survived by her mother: Susan (Lawson) Mitchell; husband, Thomas J. Bahel, whom she married April 25, 2015; sons: Cody Shaw and Caleb Shoemaker; sister: Julie Keaton; brothers: Ryan Harp of East Palestine, OH; Steve (Wendy) Mitchell of Dayton and Greg Mitchell of Wilmington, OH; along with numerous other family members and friends. Rachel was preceded in death by her father: Newell Mitchell.

Rachel graduated from Clinton Massie High School. She was very strong willed and devoted to her family. She loved animals and especially her puppies, Lola and Layla. She will be missed by all.

Services to celebrate Rachel's life will be held 11:30 AM Friday, October 6th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Mike Parks officiating.
