Ralph Strother was born on March 9, 1936, in Sciotoville, Ohio and went home to be with his Saviour December 25, 2021. His love for flying was only surpassed by his love for his Lord and his family. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Bowersville, Ohio in 1954.

Being a private pilot and owning his own plane brought Ralph much joy. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA Chapter 382) and also volunteered his time at Young Eagles flying events. His hardworking spirit was a blessing to all he encountered; especially at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a longtime member. He served as a Deacon and was a member of the Building Committee, participating in the construction of the original chapel and every unit add-on. Ralph retired from AT&T in 1994.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Delores and his three loving children: Pam (Jeff – deceased), Vicki Cech (Joe), and Rick Strother (Jodi). He adored his 9 grandchildren: Kait Brown, Adam Brown, Aric Brown, Ryan Fox, Jaime Spencer, Andy Fox (deceased), Sarah Strother, Nathan Strother and Joseph Strother, as well as his 9 great-grandchildren: Lannie Fox, Aubrey Fox, Addison Spencer, Patton Spencer, Keaton Spencer, Audrey Spencer, Macen Brown, Krew Brown and Jaden Fernandes(Brown).

Ralph's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to their special neighbors, Roger and Dove Erich, and to Dr. Aleena Slone and Nurse Pam at Jamestown Family Medicine.

Services to be held at Friday, January 7th at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Avenue, Xenia, Ohio. Viewing at 10:30 am with service at 11:00 am. Burial to be at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia, Ohio.
