Richard E. Mason, age 91, of Xenia, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Wright Rehab and Nursing Center in Fairborn. He was born February 5, 1931 in Caesar's Creek Twp., Ohio the son of Russell and Vesta (Hurley) Mason.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Linnea M. Mason in 2014; and siblings: Ora Lou Rumbaugh; Wanda Wilt; Russell Mason; Dorothy Edwards; Helen Anderson; Evelyn Hebrank and Paul Mason.

He is survived by his sister: Freda Thomas and well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He graduated from Xenia High School and worked at NCR and Vernay Labs before his retirement. Richard enjoyed traveling and loved to take a nice long drive.

He will be interred with his wife in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
