Ricky Allen Heistand, age 67, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born June 5, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio.

Ricky was preceded in death by his mother and step father: Deana (Tudor) and Robert Evans; father: James Heistand; aunts: Donna Johnson, Shirley Merker and Doris Egelhoff; and two cousins: Johnny and Staci.

He is survived by his brother: Benny P. Evans of Bailey, NC; and cousins: Billy, Sharlene, Sherry Kay, Rodney and Alecia; as well as numerous friends from his group home.

He lived at the Montgomery County Development Center for many years and his family appreciates all they have done for him.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, February 4th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. William Rowe officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. He will be buried at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
