Rita Rose Loy, 76, of Xenia, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek.

She was born January 15, 1948, in Bay Shore, NY, the daughter of Joseph John and Rose (Horyczun) Blandino.  Rita was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church and was an avid animal lover.  Rita was the life of any gathering and was loved by all she met.

Rita is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Howie (Connie) Vellia and Eugene (Sheri) Vellia; grandchildren, Cody Vellia, Micha'el Salmons, Freya Vellia, Lorraine Vellia, Madison Vellia, Titus Vellia and Silas Vellia; sister, Margaret Byrn; and brother, Michael Blandino.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 Am Wednesday, January 15th, at McColaugh Funeral, Xenia, with Deacon Mark Danis officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
