Robert Joseph "Joe" Myers, age 66, of Xenia passed away at his residence Tuesday, December 20, 2022 following an illness. He was born July 20, 1956 in Xenia. Joe was preceded in death by his mother and step-father: Alma Jean (Armstrong) and Bert Stevens; his father and step-mother: Frank and Kay Myers; and his sister: Susan Vukosich.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Schum) Myers, whom he married June 17, 1978; children: Robert Joseph Myers Jr., of Cincinnati; Matthew Myers of Xenia and Jennifer (Daniel) Marietta of Xenia; sister: Joellen (Jim) Heatherly; grandchildren: Ethan, Alex, Bella, Asina, Roland, Olivia, Violet and Kori; a special friend: Philip; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Joe graduated from Xenia High School. He was the Vice President of Sales at Hooven & Allison Rope Company. After they closed, he worked at several car dealerships in the area, before becoming a caregiver with Towards Independence, a position he enjoyed and made many lasting friendships. Joe also enjoyed playing softball. He especially loved being with his family and grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 3:30 PM Tuesday, December 27 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. A gathering for friends and family will be held immediately prior to the service beginning at 2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
