Roberta Jean "Bertie" Lavender, age 84, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was born April 10, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Edison D. and Emma (Rutledge) Wilgus.

Bertie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Dennie Lavender; sister: Pat Wiseman; and nephew: David Wiseman, Jr.

She is survived by nieces: Pam Dudley and Debbie Wiseman; several great nieces and nephews and her extended family at the John Sale Manor where she lived for many years.

She enjoyed playing Bingo and crocheting. She had been a member of the Red Hat Society and previously attended the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Xenia.

Services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 11th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. She will be interred at New Burlington Cemetery following.
