Roger E. "Rog" Caskey, age 70, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 26, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Thurman and Christine (Bennett) Caskey. In addition to his parents, Rog was preceded in death by a son, Shuan Caskey and brother: David Caskey.

Rog retired from General Motors. He enjoyed watching the NFL, and was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan. He liked to watch horse races and listen to country music. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and he loved his grandchildren.

Rog is survived by his wife, Patricia (Puckett) Caskey, whom he married September 4, 1973; his daughter: Tosha (Jacob) Leach of Cedarville; grandchildren: Makayla, Darrin, Mason and Jase; and a sister: Jeanette Tanner; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 23rd at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Mark Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. He will be interred immediately following at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
