Rogina Brakeall, age 75, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, May 12, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 9, 1948.

Rogina was preceded in death by her father: Roy Pfister; her mother and step father: Martha Jane (Gentner) and Willie Lute; her husband: Richard L. Brakeall; sister: Cheryl Cruitt and great granddaughter: Paislee.

Rogina is survived by her sons: Richard Jr. (Glenda) Brakeall of Xenia; Bob (Tara) Brakeall of Spring Valley; sisters: Pat Finley and Sharon Strickland; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Reeder, Courtney (Jon) Wade, Amanda (Nicolas) Smith, Bradlee Flaugher and Austin Flaugher; 8 great grandchildren: Tienna, Adailya, Landon, Haylynn, Imerson, Stella, Rhett and Hudson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Rogina retired from Yamada and also retired from Xenia Community Schools where she had been a custodial aide. During football season, she never missed watching a Cincinnati Bengals game. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and being outdoors on the water, swimming, boating and fishing. She missed dancing with her husband.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 17th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 4PM – 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
