Rosemary Howard (Borst), 79, of Caesarscreek Township, passed into eternal life on July 24, 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Ben, of 52 years, and son Travis, both of Caesarscreek Township, and son, Jason (Debbie), and granddaughters, Tina and Leona of Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by one brother, Fred Borst (Margot) of Springboro, Ohio, a very close sister-in-law, Donna Borst of Port William, Ohio and many other family, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Borst (1963), mother, Hazel Borst (1997), brother, Joe Borst (1998), brother, Paul Borst (2004), sister, Phyllis Thomas (2013), and brother, Charlie Borst (2013).

Rosemary was born in Bellbrook, Ohio in 1943, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1962. She was Pork Queen of the Greene County Fair and attended Asbury College. Rosemary was a gifted singer and guitar player. She enjoyed singing Church music and was a hi-octave soprano. She signed a record contract with Sam Phillips of Sun Records in Memphis, then chose to have a family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, collectibles, and family. She will be missed very much, but with peace she has gone to her Eternal Home.

Services will be held at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, Ohio on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 1:30 PM. Friends and family will be received from 12:30PM-1:30PM with the funeral service immediately following and Art Gillum, Jr. officiating.  Rosemary will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, in Bowersville, Ohio.
