Rosetta Teague, age 97, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was born in Straight Creek, Kentucky, September 4, 1927 the daughter of Cleo and Dessie (Hunter) Frith.

In addition to her parents, Rosetta was preceded in death by her brothers: Nathan Frith and Carl Frith and sisters: Magdalene Parker and Shirley Robinson.

She is survived by her son: James Edward (Deborah) Teague; daughter: Vicki Lynn (Millard) Morris; grandsons: James Michael Teague; Eric J. Ross Morris and Benjamin Michael (Jamie) Morris; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Rosetta graduated from Everts High School in Kentucky. She was an accomplished seamstress, able to sew an outfit without even a pattern, crocheting and quilting as well. She was a very good Christian and attended Liberty Life Center. She was very generous and helpful.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, August 28th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Todd Martin officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
