Russell A. Cline, age 67, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born June 5, 1957 in Xenia, the son of James and JoAnn (Harper) Cline. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his sister: Vicky Clark and brother: Jeffery Cline.

Russ is survived by his fiancé, Debby Guthrie; children: Rebekah Moore and Ryan Cline, both of Xenia; grandchildren: Brooklynne, Roman and Elijah; stepchildren: Crystal Guisleman (Matthew) of Wilmington; Korinne (Alan) Guthrie of Wilmington; Kyle (Shaylynn) Guthrie of Beavercreek; step-grandchildren: India, George, Ruthanna, Lakelyn and Kameron; and many relatives and friends.

Russ was a self-employed carpenter, who worked for many local builders in the area.  He graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1975. Russ loved riding his motorcycle, traveling, and racing.  He enjoyed a good book, especially about history.   Russ had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing a good joke.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 21st, at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 North Detroit Street, Xenia.  A celebration of his life will follow at 2:30 PM with Pastor Ron Swiger officiating.
