Russell Glenn McKee, age 80, formerly of Dayton and currently of Georgetown, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Ohio Veterans Home. He was born October 11, 1944 at home in Greene County, Ohio the son of Grace (Johnson) and Ralph McKee Sr.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by sisters: Esther Chaplin; Veda Sharon McKee and Emma Lee Gill; a brother: Ralph McKee, Jr. and a grandson: Steven Delong.  He is survived by his daughter: Trina Gerhing of Kettering; 2 grandchildren: Brittany Garner and Corey Delong; 5 great grandchildren; brother: Mark (Gloria) McKee of Texas; sisters: Clara Hetzel of Kentucky and Rebecca (John) Waddle of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Russell graduated from Xenia High School and served in the US Army during VietNam. He enjoyed cars and fishing.
Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Friday, July 18, 2025 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home. He will be buried with military honors at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
