Thelma Ruth Bledsoe Stutler, 89, of Bellbrook, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 at Ohio Living-Cape May, Wilmington, Ohio. She was born in Bellbrook to Virgil and Della Robinette Bledsoe on June 18, 1935. Ruth graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1953. She married Richard E. Stutler on March 30, 1957. Ruth and Richard lived in Tennessee for over 60 years. Ruth moved back to Bellbrook in 2023 to be closer to family.

Ruth retired from the Eastman Kodak Company after more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed reading, movies, NASCAR, and sharing family history.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Lee McIntire and Kay McIntire of Bellbrook, Ann (Lee) Martin and Jeff (Sherrill) McIntire of Xenia, sisters-in-law, Nancy Tesmer and Susan Ward of Florida, brother-in-law Stephen Stutler and family of Pennsylvania, several great and great-grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Special friends Mark and Robynn Wingate of Tennessee and David Perez of California.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons David and Randall, sister Norma Lee Edens, brother-in-law Jerry R. Edens, and brother-in-law John Tesmer.

The family wishes to thank the staff and hospice team of Ohio Living-Cape May for the care they gave Ruth.

Graveside service will be held for family and friends Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bellbrook Cemetery, Bellbrook, Ohio.
