Sue Ellen Davis, 80, of Xenia, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021.

She was born on July 23, 1941, in Springfield, OH, the daughter of William and Edna (Doughman) Gregory. Sue lived a life full of love, compassion, and caring as all who knew her would attest. She enjoyed camping and the annual trips to Canada with friends and family. She also loved sports including her beloved Buckeyes, Reds, Bengals, and Wildcats. Above all, however, Sue loved her family, friends, and her church. She always had a smile on her face. Her last message to all of us was that she would "See Us Over Yonder". Enjoy your time in heaven Sue, your work on Earth is done.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Mike), Dietz, her son Gregory Davis; grandkids, Caleb Davis, Madison, Brayden, and Aleah Dietz; brothers, William (Janice) Gregory and Terry (Theresa) Gregory; sisters-in-law Rosemary Gregory and Patricia Gregory; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James Evans Davis in 2012; and brothers Ronald Gregory and Donald Gregory.

The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 3rd, at The First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Rd, Xenia, OH 45385. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
