Sylvia Ann Driscoll, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born August 23, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio the youngest of 13 children born to William and Charlotte (Berry) Smith.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Dean L. Driscoll in 1994; daughter: Jennifer M. Hughes in 2025; and siblings: Leora Jane Snyder; Mary V. Smith; Barbara Floss; Patricia A. Smith; Sandra M. Smith; Phyllis L. Skinner; Sarah R. Walters; William H. Smith; Ronald E. Smith; Daniel C. Smith; Donald S. Smith and an infant brother.

Sylvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Matthew D. and Alicia Driscoll of Xenia; son-in-law: Scott Hughes of Oak Hill, OH; step children: Sherry (Brad) Rittenhouse; Amy (Gary) Test; Kathy (Troy) Erbes and Tracey Driscoll; grandchildren: Otis D. and Jaxon M. Driscoll and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Sylvia retired from WPAFB after over 30 years of service as an analyst. She enjoyed sewing and collecting antiques.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 Friday, May 22nd at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. R. James "Pete" Creamer officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be buried with her husband at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
