Talitha Ann Long, age 58, of Xenia, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at Ohio State University Hospital after an extended illness.

Talitha was born July 2, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Rev. Norman and Mary Lou (Greaf) Bosworth.

She is survived by her husband, David W. Long of 35 years; sons: Levi and Matthew Long; and brother: Tim (Rita) Bosworth, nieces and nephews, other extended family members and in-laws.

Talitha graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Xenia Christian and Xenia Community Schools. She was also a teacher at CORS Headstart in Xenia. Talitha worked at Key Chrysler and Cedarville University before retiring from VineBrook Homes. She was a member of Dayton Ave. Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with medical expenses.

Services to celebrate her life will be held 7 PM Friday, September 20th at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Ave., Xenia with Pastor Jonathan Young officiating. A gathering for friends and family will be held Friday at 6 PM until the time of service at the church.
