Theresa Catherine Campbell, "Toni" age 97, of Xenia, passed away at Shawnee Estates, Xenia, Sunday March 3, 2024. She was born December 17, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of George and Theresa Cecilia (Beck) O'Shea.

In addition to her parents, Toni was preceded in death by her husbands: Hamer E. Campbell and Jesse Dale Sanders; sons: Fred Campbell and Joe Sanders; daughters-in-law: Diane Campbell and Jane Campbell; siblings and their spouses: Lorraine O'Shea; George (Helen) O'Shea; Jeanette (Jim) Wright; Elaine (Ray) Thornton; brother-in-law: Ray Ventura; sister-in-law: Pat O'Shea.

Toni is survived by her children: Jak Campbell of Clifton, OH; Hamer (Barb) Campbell of FL; Marty (Tammy) of Beavercreek; and Steve (Glenda) Campbell of Xenia; Jim (Monica) Sanders of MO, Jesse (Joyce) Sanders of Xenia, and Deneese (Rod) Hilderbrandt of Waynesville; daughters-in-law: Dee Campbell and Kim Sanders; siblings: Joyce Ventura; William O'Shea and Carol (Ron) Whitaker; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Toni was proud to be the family Matriarch, celebrating family every chance she could. She very successfully cared for her large family, being an accomplished seamstress, quilter, baker, and crafter. Not only did she raise her own children, she enjoyed "mothering" many other children. She was a faithful Catholic woman, and especially appreciated the Latin Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Cincinnati, which she attended into her 80s. Recently Toni was honored for her service to her country during the war working on airplanes as "Rosie the Riveter."  She was always "the lady", dressed to perfection and ready for the next adventure. She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held 9:30 -10:30 AM Wednesday March 13th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11AM Wednesday, at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. She will be interred at St. Brigid Cemetery.
