Vernon Edward "Ed" Perry, age 79, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born July 9, 1944 in Waynesville, MO the son of Lenore (Ramey) and Herbert A. Perry.

Ed graduated from Greenview High School. He was a proud graduate of the Ohio State University. He retired from Fairmont High School in Kettering where he had taught Chemistry. Ed enjoyed coaching football at Greenview Schools for many years. He also played softball on various local teams.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his infant son: Justin Perry.

Ed is survived by his wife, Cheryl Navarro, whom he married in 2011; his daughter: Heather (Andy) Lutz of Anderson, IN; son: Lance Perry of Liberty Twp., OH; grandchildren: Kara, Lauren and Tyler Lutz and Trinity Perry; a brother: Hal (Bonnie) Perry of Cedarville the mother of his children: Linda Perry; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM Monday, July 1st at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia.
