Violet Mae McCartney, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, November 3 ^, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia.

Violet was preceded in death by her father: Wilmer Jackson Rife; mother: Myrtle Marie (Cunningham) Williamson; a daughter: Melissa Dalton; brothers: James Williamson; David Rife and Ronald Rife; and a sister: Minnie McCormick.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Diana Seedle; Brenda (Dean) Fox; and Beth Ann Moore; sisters: Mary Praither; Betty Payton; Judy Hughes; Linda Williamson; and brothers: Don Rife and William Williamson; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat: Queenie.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, OH. Interment to follow in St. Brigid Cemetery, Xenia, OH. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
