Wanda Lee
Brewer
Aug 2, 1942 — Oct 6, 2026
Wanda Lee Brewer, age 84, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026 surrounded by those she loved and who loved her. Wanda was born August 2, 1942 in Bowersville, Ohio, the daughter of Thurman "Mick" Stephens and Mary Ella (Lyons) Bell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: David E. Brewer, step-father: Earnest Bell Jr., son: Lonny Ater, sisters: Violet Grooms, and half-brothers: Willard and Gerald (Mickey) Stephens. She was recently preceded in death by her beloved grandson: Kyle Poling. He was always there for her and called her everyday. She loved him with all her heart.
She is survived by her daughter: Tonya (Jerry) Hutchinson; sons: Tony (Tanya) Ater and Jason (Elaine) Scott; step-son: Chad (Jo) Scott, adopted sister: Ginger (Jim) Mussetter and step sister: Vicki Garcia. Last but not least, her precious sister: Esther (Gary) Everitt. The love and memories they shared is remarkable. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved. She was "Nana" to many. She also had many nieces and nephews, whom she loved like her own and too many cousins to name.
Wanda was still very close to her school mates from the first grade and loved them all very much. Her life was devoted to her family. They meant everything to her. Wanda referred to herself as "Little Miss Fix-It", wanting to fix everyone with their problems. She was a very hard worker, spending 30 years in food service, from server to management and all the jobs in between. Wanda loved people and never met a stranger. Wanda was very proud of her children and they loved hearing her entertaining stories. They will have many wonderful memories to share, but now it is time for Wanda to meet her heavenly Father and family members that she's been missing so much. She leaves this last message for her loved ones, "God Bless you all. My love for you will go on forever."
