William J. "Bill" Jenks Jr., Age 68, passed away September 7, 2025 after a battle with cancer.

Bill was born Oct. 23, 1956 in Washington Court House to the late William and Marianne Jenks of Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Tia Steiner; daughter, Rachel Peacock; uncle, Jerry Speakman; and nephew, Daniel Jenks.

Bill was a graduate of Greenview HS.  He worked for Fishel Construction and Wilson Freight earlier in his career, but mostly for SuperValu.  He also spent several years in the Bellbrook school system after retiring from SuperValu.  As a former athlete, Bill liked many sports and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.  He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and was a good cook.

Bill is survived by his granddaughter, Rowynn Peacock, who he really enjoyed watching play soccer; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Tim Augustine of Kettering; his brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Kim Jenks and nephew Richie Jenks of Carlisle, PA; cousin, Jeremy (Taria) Speakman of Xenia; as well as numerous friends.

It was Bill's request to be cremated and have private remembrances.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton and Friends Care Community of Yellow Springs.
