William Lee "Willie" Garrett, age 66, of Xenia, and most recently of Danleyton,  Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 15, 2023 at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY.

He was born May 29, 1957 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the son of James Monroe and Evelyn Frances (Woolum) Garrett. In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; three brothers: James, Cecil and Charles Garrett and a sister: Mary Turner.

He is survived by stepdaughters: Laura, Melissa, Jennifer and Susan; sisters: Faye O'Neal and Marie (Eddie) Kash; brother: Richard (Laura) Garrett; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a great grandson.

Willie had been a truck driver for Valicor. He enjoyed life and being outdoors and was excited to be moving back home to Kentucky. He had attended Center Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon on Thursday, October 19th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Randy Lee officiating. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
