William Thomas "Tom" Schroeder, age 88, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Trinity Community of Fairborn. He was born August 10, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio. Tom was preceded in death by his mother: Anna Chapman Baldwin.

He is survived by his wife: Mary (Williams) whom he married August 11, 1956; sons: Jon Schroeder (MaryAnn) of St. Louis, MO; Mark Schroeder (Jenna) of Fairborn; grandchildren: Aiden Taylor, Noah, Aubree and Isla Schroeder and Darryl Hixon; a sister: Ruth (Terry) Kratzer of Jamestown; and a host of other siblings and relatives.

Tom graduated from Cedarville High School and went on to serve in the US Army being stationed in Korea. Tom had worked as an office equipment repairman for most of his life, working at VanZant Office Equipment and TRW. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for over 70 years. Tom was always willing to lend a hand and help others.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.  He will be interred with military honors at Valley View Memory Gardens during private services.
