William "Billy" Shaw, age 46, of Xenia, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 26, 1975 to Mary (Shaw) Smith.

In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by his brother: Brian (Shayla) Smith; daughter: Karli Shaw; niece: Kaylie Smith; uncles: Don Shaw and Bob (Blanche) Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his father: Mike Smith; grandparents: Jess and Elsie Shaw; aunts: Phyllis Freeman; Janet Smithhisler; Shirley Schroeder; Teresa Duncan; and an uncle: Charles Shaw.

Billy touched a lot of lives and will always be remembered with love. He was an amazing artist and was a perfectionist when it came to his art. When anyone wanted a portrait done or just something drawn up for a tattoo, they would go to him. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially hanging out with his brother Brian, playing Pokeman or just sitting drinking beer.

His daughter Karli was his pride and joy and you could just see and feel the love when he spoke of her. They both had a passion for the love of snakes and working together. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to assist with final expenses. If desired donations may be directed to his uncle Donald Shaw.

A gathering for friends and family will be held 2PM -4 PM  Friday, October 15, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St. Xenia.
